Scottish Inn & Suites IAH West

The location was perfect for us to get from the hotel to our trip's intended location and close to the city without the typical headache of traveling in with the gridlock traffic that is notorious in HTX. The rooms are clean and the staff members are not intrusive to the privacy of their guest. This was not our typical trip to HTX for business as usual. This was a more private trip to handle some family affairs. I was thrown a back to the fact that the hotel was a Scottish Inn (typically outdated and not even a comparison to the hotels we usually use) and we arrived off the interstate late the first night to see their sign as we came down the main highway. I must say that it was a diamond in the rough and we are blessed to have found it. We were departing early that morning to go to the city centre as usual with a reservation for the hotel where we were going to stay. That said we have been here four nights and plan on staying at this place for our last night as well. I almost didn't want to write this review and keep it hush hush for our visits to HTX in the near future. I find that bad guest seem to have a tendency to stay in nice places and the places sooner than not become more than undesirable as the undesirables stay in the properties. I hope this review is a reflection on the pleasant stay we had and not an opening for the undesirable guest to destroy a good thing 😕
